This no-cook snack is easy to prepare and perfect for a light, healthy treat or party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit

  • 2 cups watermelon, peeled and cut into bite size cubes
  • 2 cups cantaloupe, peeled and cubed
  • 1 large mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup jicama, peeled and cut into sticks or cubes
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced or cubed

Seasonings & Sauces

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons Tajin seasoning or chili lime seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chamoy sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Wash and prepare all fruit by peeling and cutting into evenly sized cubes or sticks to ensure easy eating and a uniform texture.
  2. Mix the Fruit: Place the watermelon, cantaloupe, mango, pineapple, jicama, and cucumber into a large mixing bowl and gently toss to combine all ingredients evenly.
  3. Add Seasonings: Pour fresh lime juice and half of the Tajin seasoning over the fruit mixture, then toss again carefully so that the fruit is lightly but thoroughly coated.
  4. Assemble the Cups: Divide the seasoned fruit mixture evenly into individual serving cups for convenient portioning.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Drizzle each fruit cup with chamoy sauce and sprinkle the remaining Tajin seasoning on top. Serve immediately and include a lime wedge on the side for an extra zing if desired.

Notes

  • You can customize the fruit selection by adding papaya, oranges, strawberries, or honeydew based on availability or preference.
  • Adjust the amount of Tajin and chamoy sauce according to your desired spice level for a milder or more intense flavor.
  • Chilling the fruit before assembling enhances the refreshing quality of this snack, making it especially enjoyable on hot days.
