Description

Create adorable and festive Oreo Lamb Lollipops perfect for Easter celebrations. These cute treats combine classic Oreo cookies with melted white chocolate and candy decorations to craft charming lamb shapes. They are simple to assemble, no baking required, and make delightful snacks or party favors for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale

Oreos and Chocolate

  • 6 Oreo Cookies
  • 12 ounces melted and tempered white chocolate or melted white confectionery coating (candy melts)

Decorations

  • 18 black candy melt wafers
  • 12 candy eyes
  • 6 pink heart sprinkles
  • 3 ounces tiny marshmallows (Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits)

Instructions

  1. Split Oreos: Carefully split each of the 6 Oreo cookies in half to create the two cookie sides for each lollipop.
  2. Brush White Chocolate: Using a brush, apply a thin layer of melted white chocolate to the inside of both halves of every Oreo cookie.
  3. Insert Stick and Assemble: Place a lollipop stick on the inside of one half of each Oreo cookie and press the cookie halves back together firmly to sandwich the stick in place.
  4. Harden the Chocolate: Allow the white chocolate inside the Oreos to cool and harden completely, securing the stick and cookie halves.
  5. Make Lamb Faces: Attach two candy eyes and one pink heart sprinkle nose onto each of 6 black candy melt wafers using a dab of the melted white chocolate to form lamb faces.
  6. Create Ears and Legs: Cut two small teardrop shapes from each of the remaining 12 black candy melts to create 12 lamb ears and 12 lamb legs.
  7. Dip Oreo Lollipops: Dip each Oreo lollipop into the melted white chocolate, coating it thoroughly.
  8. Attach Faces: Press one of the decorated black candy wafer lamb faces into the center of each dipped Oreo lollipop.
  9. Add Marshmallows: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle tiny marshmallows all over the cookie to resemble fluffy lamb wool.
  10. Let Dry: Allow the entire decorated Oreo lamb lollipops to dry completely and set the chocolate coating.
  11. Repeat: Repeat these steps to create a total of 6 Oreo Lamb Pops.
  12. Attach Ears and Legs: Use small amounts of melted white chocolate to attach two chocolate ears and two chocolate legs to each lamb pop, completing the cute lamb shapes.

Notes

  • Ensure the white chocolate is properly tempered or use candy melts that harden firmly for best results.
  • Work quickly when applying decorations before the chocolate sets.
  • Use a clean brush to evenly coat the Oreos with white chocolate to avoid clumps.
  • You can substitute candy eyes and heart sprinkles with other edible decorations according to preference.
  • These treats are best enjoyed the same day they are made to maintain crunchiness of Oreos and freshness of decorations.
