Ingredients
Scale
Pizza Bites
- 1 cup pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 15 slices pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Dipping Sauce
- ½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Prepare the Dough. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately ¼ inch thickness, then cut into 3-inch squares for individual bites.
- Add Fillings and Seal. Place one slice of pepperoni and a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough square. Fold the corners over the filling and pinch tightly to seal so the filling does not leak during baking.
- Season and Oil. Sprinkle the top of each sealed bite with Italian seasoning to add flavor. Optionally, brush lightly with olive oil for a golden finish.
- Bake. Arrange the prepared pizza bites on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are puffed up and golden brown.
- Cool and Serve. Let the pizza bites cool for a few minutes before serving with marinara sauce for dipping to enjoy that perfect gooey pizza flavor in every bite.
Notes
- Use store-bought pizza dough for convenience or homemade dough for better flavor.
- You can substitute pepperoni with any other cured meat or vegetables for variety.
- Make sure to seal the edges tightly to prevent filling leakage.
- These pizza bites are best served warm right out of the oven.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in the oven for best texture.
