Ingredients
Scale
Dough Ingredients
- 3/4 cup warm water (100 to 105 degrees F)
- 3/4 Tablespoon honey
- 3/4 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3/4 Tablespoon instant yeast
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
Filling Ingredients
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (cut into small cubes)
- Pizza toppings of your choice: pepperoni, ham, veggies, pineapple, etc.
Topping and Seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Dipping Sauce
- Pizza Sauce and/or Ranch dressing (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and grease a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate or 9×9-inch square baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm water, honey, vegetable oil, instant yeast, and salt. Stir in the flour gradually until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it back in the bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 20 minutes.
- Assemble the Rolls: Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle suitable for your baking dish. Evenly distribute the mozzarella cubes and your choice of pizza toppings over the dough. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice it into even pieces (about 9-12 rolls). Arrange the rolls cut side up in the prepared baking dish, leaving slight gaps between them.
- Season and Bake: Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with pizza sauce and/or ranch dressing for dipping. Enjoy your stuffed pizza rolls hot!
Notes
- You can customize the fillings according to your preference—vegetarian or meat lovers options work great.
- Make sure the water is warm but not hot to properly activate the yeast.
- If you prefer crispier rolls, brush additional olive oil on top before baking.
- Leftover rolls can be refrigerated and reheated in the oven for best texture.
